Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”(Matthew 4:4)
Lesson 1: The Lord uses God’s word (“It is written in the scriptures”) to resist the devil; God’s word is a weapon in spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17). If we want to overcome the enemy, we must use God’s word.
Lesson 2: Anyone who relies solely on food and not on all the words spoken by God, although he lives, he does not live in the reality of the kingdom of heaven.
Lesson 3: Those who serve God must live by believing in God’s word for the needs of life, so as not to serve Mammon(Money).
Lesson 4: The Lord Jesus does not change the stone as food. It is not that he cannot do it, but that he refuses to do it. The question with those who serve God is not what they can do, but that if it is not based on God’s word, even if they can do it, they will not do it.
