“Don’t ask God why he’s allowing something to happen. Ask him what he wants you to learn and do in the midst of it.”
In times of challenge and uncertainty, it’s natural to question the reasons behind our difficulties. However, this quote encourages us to shift our perspective from questioning God’s intentions to seeking understanding in our circumstances. Every trial has a purpose, and often, it is in our weaknesses that we discover strength, in our doubts that we cultivate faith, and in our pain that we grow in compassion.
This mindset not only brings peace but also opens our hearts to the lessons God wants to teach us. Instead of being consumed by confusion or frustration, we can embrace God’s wisdom and guidance, asking Him to reveal what we can learn during tough times. As we do this, we can find comfort in knowing that each experience is shaping us for His greater purpose.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your presence in my life, even during difficult times. Help me to shift my focus from questioning why things happen to seeking understanding in my struggles. Teach me the lessons You want me to learn, and guide me on how to respond with grace and faith. Surround me with Your peace and give me the strength to trust in Your plan, even when I can’t see the way forward. Help me to be open to Your voice and to grow through each experience. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
