The Devil will exaggerate your mate’s failures and inadequacies, sow suspicion and jealousy, indulge your self-pity, insist that you deserve something better, and hold out the hollow promise that things would be better with someone else. But hear Jesus’ words, and remember: God can change hearts and remove all hardness if we will allow Him. (Mal. 2:13, 14, 16/Ps. 68:5, 6)
Prayer:
Dear Lord, we come before You with heavy hearts that sometimes entertain doubts and fears about our relationships. Help us to recognize the voice of the enemy that seeks to sow discord and mistrust. Grant us the wisdom to see our partners through Your eyes, embracing their imperfections as opportunities for growth and love. May we always cling to the hope that You can change hearts and soften minds. Fill our relationships with compassion, understanding, and grace. Teach us to communicate openly and forgive readily. Lead us back to the truth of Your Word, reminding us that love triumphs over all and that with You, every heart can be renewed. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
