LORD,
Every day feels like a battle and I am tired. Please fight for me as I put on the full armor of God. I know you have divine purpose for my life. Amen.
### Devotional Article:
Life can often feel like a relentless struggle, with challenges and obstacles appearing at every turn. We may find ourselves weary, longing for strength and guidance. The analogy of putting on the armor of God reminds us that, although we face battles, we do not fight alone. Each piece of this armor—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—equips us for the trials we encounter.
In Ephesians 6:10-18, we are reminded of the importance of being strong in the Lord and standing firm against the schemes of the enemy. It is through this divine protection that we can navigate the complexities of life with courage and resilience. God has a plan for each of us, one filled with divine purpose.
When we feel tired and defeated, let’s seek His strength. The battles we face are not merely physical or emotional; they also test our spirit. However, by turning to God and wearing His armor, we can tap into the limitless resources He provides.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being our refuge and strength in times of struggle. Help us to remember to put on the full armor of God every day, so we are prepared to face the battles that come our way. Give us the courage to stand firm, knowing that you fight for us. Remind us of the divine purpose you have for our lives. As we face our daily challenges, may we find rest in You and assurance in Your mighty power.
In Jesus’ name, we pray,
Amen.
