In our journey through life, it is easy to get caught up in our own plans and desires. We often lay out our goals, ambitions, and paths, believing we have everything under control. However, Proverbs 16:9 reminds us that while we may devise our plans, it is ultimately the Lord who directs our steps. This verse invites us to trust in God’s divine guidance and to remain open to His will in our lives. When we acknowledge that His ways are higher than our ways, we can find peace in surrendering our plans to Him and embracing the journey He has for us.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for being the ultimate guide in our lives. Help us to release our tight grip on our plans and to trust in Your providence. Teach us to be patient and open-hearted as we navigate the paths You have prepared for us. May we find comfort in knowing that You are in control, even when our plans change. Lord, help us to seek Your will above all else. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
