Our delight is in the Law

Message:

In Psalm 1:2, we see a beautiful reminder of the importance of immersing ourselves in God’s Word. It states, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates day and night.” This verse encourages us to find joy in the teachings of the Lord. When we take the time to meditate on His Word, we cultivate a deeper relationship with Him, allowing His truth to guide our thoughts and actions. Just as a tree planted by flowing water thrives, so too do we flourish in our spiritual lives when we commit ourselves to prayerful study and reflection.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help us to find delight in Your law and to meditate on it day and night. May Your teachings guide us in our daily lives and strengthen our faith. Let us be like trees planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in season and staying steadfast in times of trial. Draw us closer to You as we seek to know You more through Scripture. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
