In our busy lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 to prioritize seeking His kingdom and righteousness above all else. This is not simply a suggestion; it’s an invitation to align our hearts and lives with God’s purpose. When we make Him our first priority, everything else falls into place. Seeking God’s kingdom means pursuing His desires and spreading His love to others, while righteousness calls us to live in a way that reflects His goodness and truth.
Every day presents us with choices. Let us choose to seek Him first, allowing His guidance to illuminate our paths. In doing so, we not only cultivate a deeper relationship with our Creator, but we also discover the profound joy and peace that come from living in accordance with His will.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of this new day. Help me to prioritize seeking You and Your righteousness above all my worries and desires. As I go through my daily activities, remind me to look for opportunities to reflect Your love and grace. Guide my thoughts and actions so that they align with Your kingdom purposes. I trust that when I seek You first, all these things will be added to me. May my heart be steadfast in You’re pursuit. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
