Focus on pleasing God

Message:

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the opinions of others. We may find ourselves worrying about what people think, striving to meet their expectations, or even compromising our values for their approval. However, we are reminded in Scripture that our ultimate goal is to please God. When we focus on aligning our actions and choices with His will, we find peace and purpose, free from the burdens of societal pressures.

Galatians 1:10 asks, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?” This verse challenges us to examine our motivations. Are we living for others, or are we truly committed to our faith? By prioritizing our relationship with God, we cultivate a life of authenticity and joy, fulfilling our calling without the weight of external judgment.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to focus on pleasing You above all else. Guide our hearts and minds so that we may seek Your approval instead of that of the world. Grant us the strength to resist the pressures that lead us away from our true purpose. Remind us that our worth is found in You and that our lives should reflect Your love and grace. May we find joy in living according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
