Nails didn’t hold Jesus to the cross; love did. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible love that You have shown us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We are reminded that it was not the nails that fixed Jesus to the cross, but rather His profound love for humanity that held Him there. Help us to fully grasp the immense sacrifice He made and the depth of that love.
Lord, as we reflect on this truth, we ask for Your grace to transform our hearts. Teach us to love as You have loved us, unconditionally and sacrificially. It is so easy to be caught up in the demands of our daily lives, becoming self-focused and overlooking the needs of those around us. Strengthen us, Lord, to see the opportunities You provide to express love to others. May our actions reflect the love that we have received, showing kindness even when it is difficult, and extending grace to those who may not deserve it.
We pray for those in our lives who are hurting, lost, or in need of Your love. Give us the courage to be Your hands and feet, reaching out to support and uplift them. Let us embody the compassion and mercy that Jesus exemplified when He walked this earth. Ignite a passion within us to not only speak of Your love but to demonstrate it through our deeds.
