In a world that often celebrates strength and self-sufficiency, it can be easy to believe that we should have everything figured out. However, the truth of our faith lies in humility and acknowledgment of our weaknesses. We do not come to Christ because we are perfect; rather, we come to Him because we recognize our shortcomings and our deep need for grace. The beauty of the gospel is that it meets us right where we are, in our brokenness and fragility. It invites us to lay down our burdens and find refuge in the love of our Savior. This vulnerability opens the door for God’s strength to shine through our lives.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging the truth of my own weakness and the need for Your presence in my life. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed by the pressures and expectations of this world, which lead me to believe that I must appear strong and self-sufficient. Lord, forgive me for the times I have tried to navigate life without fully relying on You. Help me to remember that it is not in having it all together that I find my identity, but in recognizing my neediness and turning to You as my Savior.
I thank You for Your grace that covers my flaws and shortcomings. It’s comforting to know that in admitting my weaknesses, Your strength is made perfect in me. I pray for the courage to be vulnerable, to share my struggles, and to seek support from my community. May I find solace in the truth that it is okay to not have everything figured out, as long as I am leaning on You.
Lord, I ask that You fill me with Your guidance and comfort in times of uncertainty. Help me to trust in Your plan and purpose for my life, even when things are challenging.
