Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction.

You have shown us in our struggles that your grace is sufficient, and your love endures forever.
Lord, we ask that you fill us with your comfort so that we can share it with others who are hurting. Help us to recognize the pain in those around us and to respond with kindness and compassion. Grant us sensitivity to the needs of others, so we can be conduits of your love. May our words and actions reflect the very comfort we receive from you.
