In our journey through life, we often find ourselves chasing after things that are fleeting and temporary: a house that may eventually need to be sold, a car that will wear down over time, and money that can easily be spent or lost. While these aspects of life can provide comfort and convenience, they are not our ultimate purpose. We are reminded that “HOUSE IS TEMPORARY,” “CAR IS TEMPORARY,” and “MONEY IS TEMPORARY.”
What endures is our relationship with God. Unlike these earthly possessions, God is eternal. His love, grace, and the salvation He offers through Jesus Christ remain forever. As we navigate life’s ups and downs, let us focus on building a lasting relationship with the Lord, for that is the foundation that will sustain us through every change and uncertainty.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. Help us to recognize the temporary nature of our earthly possessions. May we not place our trust in what can fade away but in You, who are everlasting. Teach us to prioritize our relationship with You above all else, finding peace and fulfillment in Your eternal presence. Guide us as we seek to understand our purpose in this world, and help us to share Your love with those around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
