Dear God,
if I hurt others,
give me the strength to apologize.
If people hurt me,
give me the strength to forgive.
In our daily lives, it is inevitable that we will unintentionally hurt others or be hurt ourselves. In these moments, we may find it challenging to either admit our mistakes or extend forgiveness. This prayer reflects our desire for humility and grace. Recognizing our own faults and being willing to apologize is a sign of true strength. Similarly, forgiving those who have wronged us releases us from the burden of resentment. God calls us to foster a spirit of compassion and understanding, reminding us that we all falter at times.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your endless grace and love. Help us to be aware of our actions and their impact on others. Grant us the humility to apologize when we have hurt someone and fill our hearts with the capacity to forgive those who have wronged us. Teach us to embody Your love in our relationships, knowing that forgiveness can heal wounds and foster peace. May we strive to reflect Your light in our interactions. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
