In Matthew 7:33-34, we are reminded of the importance of prioritizing our relationship with God. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” This passage calls us to focus not on our worries or tomorrow’s uncertainties, but on seeking God’s kingdom above all else. When we prioritize God in our lives, everything else falls into place. The assurance that He knows our needs brings peace and alleviates anxiety. Let us rest in the promise that as we pursue Him, He will take care of our every need.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us of the importance of seeking You first. Help us to place our trust in You and to prioritize our relationship with You above all else. Guide us to remember that you are in control and that our worries do not add to our lives. Grant us peace as we let go of our anxieties and focus on Your kingdom. May we always seek Your will and righteousness in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
