guarding our hearts is so so important. boundaries are essential, on and off of the internet. and others don’t have to agree with them.

we need to guard our hearts & often that takes form in some sort of boundaries. with the internet increasing social interactions, boundaries are much needed. it’s okay to not be able to message everyone back or post daily. it’s okay to delete hurtful & negative comments on your posts. it’s okay to block people who only want to bring you down. it’s okay to unfollow or disconnect from people who pull you away from the Lord. it’s okay to not have social media at all.

similarly, it’s totally okay to stop hanging out with people in real life as well. it’s okay to dress modestly when others don’t. it’s okay to not follow the norms. we should always be following what the Lord & His Word say & puts on our hearts above anything this world has to offer.
