Every single time I read this passage, it prompts me to ask myself, If Jesus called you to drop everything and follow Him away from your home and what’s comfortable, would you?

I’m a planner and a perfectionist. Immediately, my flesh wants to reject this question. Why would I want to leave what I know and find comfortable?

Jesus. Jesus always has been and always will be more than enough. 🤍

What I take away from this passage in Matthew is to reflect on my relationship with Jesus. It also inspires me how Peter and Andrew leave what they were doing behind to immediately follow Jesus when He calls them. We should willingly go where He sends us. 🌿
