Samaritan’s Purse has dispatched its DC-8 aircraft carrying a fully-equipped emergency field hospital to Myanmar following Friday’s devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake. The North Carolina-based charity’s response includes two operating theaters, medical supplies, and 28 disaster specialists to provide critical care in areas where local hospitals have been destroyed. As the death toll rises to 2,719 with hundreds still missing, Franklin Graham urges Christians to “pray for all those affected and for our teams as they serve in Jesus’ Name.” The disaster compounds Myanmar’s existing humanitarian crisis following the 2021 military coup. #MyanmarEarthquake #SamaritansPurse #DisasterRelief #HumanitarianAid #EmergencyResponse #PrayForMyanmar #ChristianCharity
