April 18 morning prayer

Our heavenly Father, thank You for the various character lessons and warnings that You have given us through Your word. Through these stories we are capable of understanding Your will, and Your plan not only for them but for us as well. Please help us to apply these principles in our lives, as well as heed the warnings based on the mistakes that some bible characters have committed. May we be wise enough to make the same errors, and suffer similar consequences. I ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
