April 20 morning prayer

Dear heavenly Father, please strengthen me throughout the day, that when temptation comes I won’t give in and yield myself to sin. Always remind me to read and meditate upon Your holy word, that I may be able to use it as a weapon against the wiles of the enemy. Even though my flesh is weak and prone to sin, I know that Your Holy Spirit already lives within me. Through His power, I can have victory over temptation, sin, and even over the wicked influence of the world around me. I ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
