As christians, we are called to be different, to be set apart from the world. 🌿

Matthew 5:13-14 reads, ‘ “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. ‘ 💡

We are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. To radiate Jesus’ light. To shine brightly for the Lord. To spread the gospel in the opportunities we are given and to be missionaries where we are planted. To point others to the Lord, not ourselves.

We are not called to stay silent about the truth. Or loudly boast about ourselves. If we look and sound like the world, we are not helping to advance His kingdom. Don’t get me wrong, I’m talking to myself here as well.

Out of the sweetest sacrificial love, Jesus died for our sins. Friends, let’s intentionally live for Him every moment of every day. 🤍
