Baptism Miracle: Blindness Healed in Michigan

James Drain walked into church blind but left seeing clearly after his baptism.

James Drain had lived with blindness for eight years after multiple sclerosis and years working in chemical factories damaged his optic nerves. Doctors confirmed he had no light perception in his left eye and only limited fractured vision in his right. On August 14, 2023, at Grace Apostolic Church in Clawson, Michigan, he chose to get baptized in Jesus’ name, not seeking healing but fully surrendering his life. As he came up from the water, he began to see lights, then faces, and even flags at the back of the sanctuary. His sight returned completely better than before.

James shared in his testimony that the miracle was not just for him but to draw others to faith. He said he wants to spend his time bringing people to Jesus. Many in the church and online have celebrated the moment, calling it a powerful reminder of God’s power today. His story has touched hearts and sparked hope for those facing their own challenges.
