Boy with autism bonding with his first friend brings his mother to tears

A 5-year-old autistic boy who will not let others touch or hug him has no friends…no matter how hard the little guy tries. And his extreme loneliness caused him to cry for months. But that changed quite a bit last October when the family flew with their son from Japan to Ohio to meet Tornado, the Golden Retriever.

Young Kainoa had been wanting a special friend he could bond with and, upon meeting, their bond was instant. 4 Paws for Ability, a non-profit organization, was able to provide Tornado to Kainoa.
