NEWS ALERT: Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, one of the world’s most beloved and influential musicians, has died at 82.
Brian Wilson was the eldest and last surviving of three musical brothers. The Beach Boys’ many hits include “Good Vibrations,” “Surfin’ USA,” and “God Only Knows,” the first pop song to ever mention God in the title.
Paul McCartney of The Beatles cited the ballad “God Only Knows” as among his favorite songs, saying it often brought him to tears.
