After a fall at work, Emma McKinley developed reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), a severe nerve disorder that left her in constant pain and confined to a wheelchair for 18 years. Her left foot became twisted, her spine curved, and her hand remained clenched shut. Doctors later recommended amputating her legs due to dangerous blood clots, but she refused.
After falling from her wheelchair and lying on the floor for eight hours in excruciating pain, Emma says she cried out to Jesus for help. She recalls that Jesus entered her room wearing a bright white robe and knelt beside her. She says she felt Him straighten her crooked foot, align her spine, and gently open her clenched hand. According to Emma, He then took her hand and helped her stand.
Hours later, when her family arrived for Christmas celebrations, they were stunned to see her walking. Though she still reports some RSD symptoms, Emma regained the ability to stand and walk and now refers to the event as her “Christmas miracle.”
