Dolly Parton posted a tender message on Thursday, speaking out for the first time about the death of her husband, Carl Dean.
Her team had posted earlier in the week, revealing he had passed on to eternity. But Dolly issued a new statement, saying she’s so grateful for the outpouring of support, and she’s confident that her husband is now with the Lord.
“I can’t reach out personally to each of you but just know it has meant the world to me,” she wrote in her latest post. “He is in God’s arms now and I am okay with that. I will always love you.”
