In our journey of faith, we often find ourselves filled with our own desires, fears, and distractions. The prayer “Lord, empty me of me, so I can be filled with you,” invites us to let go of our ego and worldly concerns, allowing space for God’s presence in our lives. By emptying ourselves, we open our hearts to receive divine wisdom, love, and guidance. This act of surrender is crucial for spiritual growth, as it aligns our will with God’s purpose and enables us to walk in His light.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before You today, seeking to empty my heart of all that hinders my relationship with You. Remove the clutter of my worries, ambitions, and fears, and fill me with Your spirit. Help me to embrace humility and trust in Your divine plan. Strengthen me to let go of what I cannot control and to seek Your will above all else. May my life reflect Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
