In a world where everything seems to be in constant flux—where situations, relationships, and environments can shift in the blink of an eye—it can be easy to feel unsettled. We encounter change daily; seasons shift, people come and go, jobs evolve, and economies fluctuate. It’s a natural part of life. However, amid all this uncertainty, there’s a comforting truth we can hold onto: God never changes.
Malachi 3:6 reminds us, “For I the Lord do not change.” This constancy provides us with a solid foundation on which to build our lives. While we cannot control the changes around us, we can trust in the unchanging nature of God. His promises remain steadfast, His love is unwavering, and His plans for our lives are eternal. In times of instability, let us turn our hearts toward Him, the anchor for our souls.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being our rock in times of change. When the world around us feels chaotic and unpredictable, help us to remember that You are constant and unmoving. Strengthen our faith in Your promises, Lord, and give us the courage to face life’s changes with the assurance that You are always by our side. May we find peace in Your presence, knowing that while everything else may shift, Your love and guidance remain the same. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
