Today we celebrate the freedom & independence of the United States. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on freedoms I’m grateful to have. For example, the freedom to worship God & read my Bible when & where I please. I’m also incredibly grateful for those who gave their lives to protect and secure these freedoms. I’m so thankful, proud & blessed this country is where God decided to place me. 🇺🇸

However, no earthly freedom compares to that which Jesus sacrificed himself for. His crucifixion defeated sin & death, saving us from eternal separation from God and our sin! What beauty there is in true freedom. 🤍
