Hope for Pakistan’s Brick Kiln Families

A U.S.-based ministry, Global Christian Relief, has launched a major campaign to free more than 100 Christian families trapped in bonded labor at brick kilns across Pakistan. Despite a national ban on bonded labor, many Christian families, often marginalized and impoverished, become ensnared in debt through small emergency loans, leading to years—or even decades—of generational slavery and severe exploitation. The ministry not only pays off these debts but also provides education, healthcare, and business support, aiming to break the cycle for good. Last year, 50 families were freed, and this year’s goal will bring hope, dignity, and new beginnings to hundreds facing systemic discrimination and persecution. Advocates urge continued awareness and support to ensure lasting change and religious freedom for Pakistan’s oppressed Christians.
