Dear God, I surrender 2020 to you. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.
In a world that often feels overwhelming, surrendering our plans and desires can be a powerful act of faith. By entrusting our year—and our lives—to God, we open ourselves up to His guidance and purpose. This prayer reflects a longing for transformation and a desire to be part of something bigger than ourselves. It acknowledges our potential while recognizing that our true fulfillment comes from serving a higher purpose.
Let us embrace this surrender, trusting that God will lead us to where we need to be, molding our identity and actions for His glory.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You today with a heart full of hope and surrender. I lay before You my plans, dreams, and uncertainties for this year. Teach me how to embrace who I am and inspire me to become who You have called me to be. Help me to use my gifts and abilities not just for my own benefit, but for Your greater purpose. May my life reflect Your love and grace to those around me.
Guide my steps and fill me with the courage to follow where You lead. Let my journey this year be one of faith, growth, and service. Thank You for Your constant presence in my life.
