Journey Church, with campuses in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach and Boynton Beach, is heartbroken after Executive Pastor Joshua Rene, 39, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Nov. 26 along South Congress Avenue in Palm Beach County. According to deputies, a pickup truck turned left and struck his Harley Davidson, ejecting him; he died at the scene. During Sunday services, Lead Pastor Scott Baugh wept as he described Rene as “always joyful, always had faith,” and preached on “faith in the valleys” while the church prayed over his wife and four children.
