Heavenly Father, I come before you today with an open heart, grateful for the gentle way in which you approach me. Your knock at the door of my heart is a testament to your love and desire to be in relationship with me. Lord, I confess that there are times when I hesitate, overwhelmed by the weight of my insecurities, fears, and past mistakes. Yet, here I am, longing to let you in. Help me to recognize that your presence brings comfort and transformation. Give me the courage to open the door wide and allow you access to the innermost parts of my being. Cleanse me of any doubts that cloud my ability to trust in your plan. Teach me to rest in your grace, knowing that you look not at my past but at the potential for growth and healing that you see in me.
As I open my heart to you, may your light illuminate the dark corners where fear and shame have taken residence. Fill me with your spirit, Lord, and guide my steps toward a life that reflects your love. I ask for the strength to let go of all that binds me and the wisdom to embrace the journey you have laid out for me.
