Message:
God, I want more of You. Too often, I choose to pursue momentary things and push You aside. Please forgive me, and change me. I don’t want to live a life that isn’t focused on You. As I prepare for Resurrection Sunday, help me to silence the noise in my life. Show me what steps I need to take to refocus my heart, mind, and will on You alone. Search my heart, and know me. Clean out my life, point out anything that offends You, and make me more like You. Show me the paths that lead to life, and fill me with joy in Your presence. I love You, and I want to fix my eyes on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as I come before You in this moment, I recognize the desire within my heart to seek more of You. Lord, I am aware of how easily I get distracted by the fleeting pleasures and worries of this world. I confess that I often allow busyness and noise to drown out Your gentle voice. Teach me, Father, to quiet my mind and to prioritize my relationship with You above all else. Help me to be still and to know that You are God.
In this season of reflection and preparation, guide my thoughts and my steps as I seek to draw closer to You. I ask that You cleanse my heart from anything that distances me from Your love and grace. Reveal any habits or distractions that keep me from living fully in Your presence. In moments of uncertainty and distraction, remind me to focus on the joy and hope that come from You.
Lord, give me the wisdom to discern what truly matters and to let go of the burdens that weigh me down. Fill my heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May my life be a reflection of Your love, and let my actions be rooted in a desire to be more like You. Help me to be diligent in seeking Your face in prayer and in Your Word, allowing it to transform my heart.
As I journey through this time of preparation, I pray for the ability to share Your love with those around me and to invite them to experience the joy of knowing You. Lord, I commit my heart to You and seek Your guidance in every area of my life. May I always remember that my true fulfillment comes from You alone.
Thank You, dear God, for hearing my prayer. I place my faith and trust in You, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. I long to fix my eyes on You and to walk in your light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
