Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your guidance and strength in this journey of life. Thank you for giving me a heart that feels, loves, and yearns for connection. I am aware that the heart, often so vulnerable, can easily be led astray by the pressures and allurements of this world. Help me, Lord, to guard my heart above all else. Let me be diligent in filtering the influences that seek to corrupt or diminish the spirit You have placed within me.
In moments when temptation lurks at the corner of my mind, grant me the wisdom to discern Your truth from the noise that surrounds me. May I seek after things that uplift and inspire me, centering my thoughts on what is pure, lovely, and worthy of praise. I desire to create a sanctuary within my heart where Your presence can flourish and guide me in all my choices.
Lord, I ask for Your protection over my heart. Shield me from negative thoughts that invade my peace and distract me from Your purpose.
