If we do not teach our child to follow Jesus, the world will teach them not to.
In our ever-changing world, the influence of society on our children can be overwhelming. As parents and guardians, it is our responsibility to instill the values of love, faith, and trust in God in the hearts of our children. Teaching them about Jesus is not just about imparting knowledge; it’s about fostering a relationship that will guide them through life’s challenges. If we neglect this duty, they may turn to the world for guidance, leading them away from the truth.
While we may not always be there to help them navigate their choices, we have the incredible opportunity to shape their understanding of God’s love and grace through our teachings and example. Let’s commit to making Jesus the center of our family life, ensuring that our children know Him personally and can lean on His strength and wisdom.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious gift of our children. Help us to be diligent in teaching them about Your love and guidance. May we be examples of Christ’s light in their lives, leading them to You in all things. Strengthen our resolve to nurture their faith and provide them with the tools they need to resist the distractions and draw of the world. We pray that they grow to know You intimately and walk in Your ways. Surround them with Your protection and grace, guiding their steps as they navigate life.
