Lord, grant us the discernment to be shrewd as serpents, that we may understand the intentions and complexities of those we encounter. Help us to read the signs around us, to be alert and aware, so that we do not fall prey to the adversities that seek to lead us astray. But woven into this discernment, instill in us the innocence of doves. May our actions, words, and thoughts be pure and filled with love, reflecting Your character in our lives.
