The words from Exodus 14:14 resonate deeply with many who find themselves in challenging times. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.” This divine reassurance reminds us that we are never alone in our struggles. When we face adversity, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and believe that we must fight our battles on our own. However, this scripture beautifully emphasizes that God is our protector and defender. It encourages us to trust fully in His power and presence, even when we cannot see the way forward.
Being still in the face of turmoil does not mean being inactive or resigned; instead, it invites us to cultivate a posture of peace and faith.
