Dear Heavenly Father,
In a world that constantly beckons us to chase after temporary things, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, I acknowledge that so often, I find myself distracted by the pursuit of wealth, status, and possessions, believing that they will bring me happiness and worth. However, deep within, I know that these pursuits are fleeting. I ask You to help me lift my gaze from the transitory to the eternal, from the surface-level achievements of this world to the profound richness of a relationship with You.
Lord, grant me the discernment to recognize what truly matters in life. Help me to understand that my identity is rooted not in what I own or accomplish, but in the love You have for me, which is boundless and everlasting. As I navigate my daily life, may I find peace in the knowledge that my worth is defined by my connection to You. Teach me to invest my energy in nurturing my faith, in serving others, and in fostering love and compassion. Let my heart resonate with the truth that while money may come and go, You are my everlasting source of hope and purpose.
