Pray for Faith – “The greatest concern should indeed be spiritual.”

Message: The problem is not dying with Covid-19. The problem is dying without JESUS! In a world that has faced incredible challenges, including the ongoing pandemic, many have been consumed by fears of illness and death. However, the greatest concern should indeed be spiritual. Physical health is undeniably important, but the state of our souls and our relationship with Jesus Christ takes precedence. Eternity hangs in the balance, and life without Christ leads to separation from God, which is the ultimate tragedy. In the midst of turmoil, let us focus on the assurance that comes from knowing Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Our passage through this life, with its risks and uncertainties, is merely a preparation for our eternal home. We must share this hope with others, urging them to prioritize their spiritual health above all else. As believers, we are called to be the light in the darkness, sharing the good news that while we may face trials, we have a Savior who promises eternal life to those who believe in Him. Let us not shy away from discussing faith and the necessity of a relationship with Jesus, especially in times of crisis. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. In these times of uncertainty and fear, we are reminded of the importance of our relationship with You. We acknowledge that life’s greatest threat is not the diseases that afflict our physical bodies, but the spiritual death that comes from living without Christ. Lord, we ask that You fill us with a renewed sense of urgency to seek and share Your truth. Help us to understand the immense value of our souls and the souls of those around us. We pray for those who are still in darkness, those who have not yet experienced the joy of knowing You. May Your Holy Spirit stir in them a desire to seek You, to know the hope that lies in accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. As we navigate our daily lives, grant us wisdom in our words and actions. May we approach conversations with grace, yet with boldness, unafraid to discuss spiritual matters that truly matter. Remind us, Lord, that we are called to be ambassadors of Your love, sharing the message of salvation and the promise of eternal life. Today, we lift up the lonely, the fearful, and the lost. Cover them with Your peace, and let them feel Your presence like never before. Use us as instruments of hope in their lives, guiding them toward the light of Jesus. Help us to realize the fleeting nature of our time on Earth. Let us not be distracted by temporary concerns, but rather focus our hearts on the eternal life You’ve promised us. We thank You for the assurance that comes from trusting in You. No matter the challenges we face, we know that with Jesus, we are never alone. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
