In the words of C.S. Lewis from “Mere Christianity,” we are reminded of the constancy of God’s love amidst the ebb and flow of our emotions. While our feelings may fluctuate, His love remains unwavering. This extraordinary love is not burdened by our sins or our indifference; rather, it is relentless in its desire to heal us. God’s commitment to our redemption comes at a cost, showing us just how profound and transformative His love is. Even in our darkest moments, when we feel unworthy or distant, His love seeks us out. We are called to rest in this certainty and allow it to reshape our hearts and lives.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your relentless love that never wavers, even when we falter. Help us to embrace the truth that no sin or indifference can diminish Your desire to heal and restore us. We ask for strength to seek Your presence and grace to accept this immense love. May our hearts be open to transformation, and may we surrender our weaknesses to You, trusting in Your perfect plan.
