For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. This passage from Ephesians 2:10 is a profound reminder of our identity and purpose. Each of us is uniquely crafted by God, imbued with gifts and talents specifically designed for the good works He has envisioned. Thank You for creating me as your handiwork, a unique instrument fashioned in Your great love. I recognize that my existence is not by chance, but rather a beautiful design, meticulously crafted for Your purpose. Lord, help me to see myself as You see me, filled with potential and purpose, destined to do good works that glorify Your name. May I never lose sight of the calling You have placed on my life; help me to remain attentive to the promptings of Your Spirit.
Guide me, O Lord, in the many opportunities to serve others that each day brings. Open my eyes to the needs around me, and give me a heart that is quick to respond. Let my actions and words be a reflection of Your love and grace. Instill within me a deep desire to be a vessel of kindness, compassion, and strength to those who are struggling or in need. May my good works serve as a beacon of hope, leading others back to You.
In times of doubt or uncertainty, remind me that I am never alone in this journey. Your presence steadies me and Your purpose propels me forward. Help me to trust in Your plans, knowing that You have prepared opportunities in advance for me to walk into. Fill me with courage to step beyond my comfort zone and to take risks for the sake of Your kingdom.
Lord, I lift up all those who are searching for their purpose. May they be reminded of their worth, and may they find the joy that comes from serving You.
