Imagine if you had $86,400 in your account and someone stole $10 from you. Would you be upset and throw away the remaining $86,390 in hopes of getting back at the person who took your $10? Or would you move on and live? This reflection invites us to consider how we value our time. Each of us has 86,400 seconds in a day. It encourages us not to let someone’s negative 10 seconds ruin the remaining 86,390. Life is greater than the small grievances that may afflict us. Embracing this perspective allows us to focus on the more valuable aspects of life, fostering resilience and grace in our daily walk.

Heavenly Father, as we come before you today, we are reminded of the precious nature of time and the opportunities that each moment brings us. Thank You for the gift of life and the potential that lies within every second of our day. Help us to recognize and cherish the significant moments that often go unnoticed. Lord, we acknowledge that life can be challenging and that conflicts may arise, leading us to dwell on negativity. Teach us to let go of mere distractions and to focus our energy on what truly matters.
May we develop the strength to overlook the small grievances and misfortunes that could easily derail our spirits. Instill within us a sense of purpose that transcends the petty annoyances we encounter. Just as we wouldn’t discard vast wealth over a minor loss, illuminate our hearts to see that our time is far more valuable. Guide our spirits toward forgiveness and understanding when we feel wronged. Equip us with the wisdom to recognize that holding on to grievances only burdens our hearts.
