pray for gratitude – acknowledging that all good things come from above
Message:
When we encounter the questions about our blessings, we are reminded of the profound truth that all good things come from above. Many people in our lives may query the source of our joy, peace, and prosperity, not realizing that it is not by our own doing but by the grace and mercy of God. Each moment of favor we experience can be traced back to our Creator. The act of acknowledging this truth serves to deepen our faith and strengthen our relationship with Him. When faced with challenges, it is easy to lose sight of the blessings we enjoy, but if we can shift our focus to God and express gratitude for His countless gifts, we become more resilient. Let us embrace the attitude of humility, recognizing that we are merely conduits of His blessings. Pointing to heaven and saying “Nobody but God!” not only affirms our dependence on Him but also inspires others to seek the same source of strength and abundance in their own lives.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. We thank You for the countless blessings that fill our lives, often recognized and sometimes overlooked. In moments of doubt or uncertainty, help us to remember that our blessings are a reflection of Your grace. You are the source of our joy, our peace, and our abundance. Teach us to point others toward You when they ask about the goodness we experience. May we not take credit for the gifts we have, but openly declare that they come from Your loving hand.
Father, we acknowledge that everything we have is a result of Your divine providence. Let us be ever mindful of this truth, so when we are questioned about our sense of peace, or the favor that surrounds us, we can respond with confidence. May our lives be a testimony to Your love and mercy, drawing others closer to You through our words and actions.
Help us cultivate an attitude of gratitude in our hearts, that we may recognize and celebrate Your blessings daily. Surround us with Your presence, and guide us in sharing this goodness with those around us. Lord, we ask for the strength to remain humble, understanding that it is not by our own might that we achieve, but by Your grace alone.
As we walk through life, may we continually point others toward heaven, as a reminder that true fulfillment and joy can only be found in You. We pray that our testimony inspires those who seek answers and those who struggle to find purpose. Let our lives echo the resounding truth that surely, it is “Nobody but God!” who blesses us beyond measure. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
