In Luke 11:9, we are reminded of the open invitation from God: “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” This scripture encourages us to approach God with our requests, underscoring the importance of persistence and faith in our relationship with Him. The three actions of asking, seeking, and knocking illustrate our journey towards God’s blessings and guidance. Our God is not distant; He is waiting for us to reach out. When we earnestly seek Him, we can trust that He hears us and responds.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that when we ask, seek, and knock, You are there to listen and respond. Help us to approach You with faith and confidence, knowing that You delight in our prayers. Teach us to seek You more and to trust in Your perfect timing and plan. Open our hearts and our minds to receive all that You have for us. May we always remember that You are our loving Father, ready to embrace us when we come to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
