The words from Psalm 121 remind us of where to turn when we seek help and guidance. “I lift my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?” This passage invites us to acknowledge our need for assistance beyond ourselves. It is a powerful reminder that our help comes not from our own strength, but from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
As we lift our eyes to the hills, we are also called to lift our hearts towards God.
