In Galatians 2:20, Paul declares, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” This profound statement captures the essence of what it means to be a follower of Christ. It signifies that our old selves, with their sin and shortcomings, have been put to death alongside Jesus. The life we now live is not our own but is empowered by Christ’s presence within us. This transformation is not merely a change in behavior; it is a complete renewal of our identity. We are called to embrace this new life, allowing Christ to work through us in our daily actions, thoughts, and interactions.
As we reflect on this truth, let us remember that we are not alone in this journey. Christ equips us with His spirit, guiding us toward His purposes and plans. Embracing our identity in Him allows us to live not in fear or doubt but in confidence and joy, knowing that we are vessels of His grace.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of salvation and for the transformative power of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to remember that I have been crucified with Christ and that my life is now hidden in Him. Teach me to live each day in a way that reflects Your love and grace. May Your Spirit guide my thoughts, actions, and relationships, so that I may be a light to others. Strengthen me to let go of my old ways and fully embrace the new life You have given me.
