Lord, we often find ourselves caught up in our own challenges and struggles, which can makes it easy to become self-focused. Teach us to rise above our personal circumstances and to be attuned to the needs of others. Instill in us a deep-rooted desire to serve, and remind us that even the simplest gestures, such as a smile or a word of encouragement, can have a profound impact on someone’s day. Let our desire to do good be driven by our love for You and our commitment to sharing that love with the world.
