Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of communication. Thank You for the ability to express our thoughts and share our lives with those around us. As we consider the words we speak, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Help us to be mindful of the impact our words can have on others. Teach us to speak with grace and compassion, avoiding any language that may wound or offend. Fill our mouths with words that bring healing, understanding, and encouragement. We recognize that our words can either build bridges or create divides, and we desire to be instruments of unity and love.
Lord, we often find ourselves in moments of frustration or fear, where harsh words seem to come too easily. In those times, grant us discernment to pause and reflect before we speak.
