Your promises bring comfort to our souls, reminding us that you are our ever-present help in trouble. Lord, I ask that as I face my anxious thoughts, you fill my heart with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Speak to my spirit when worries begin to weigh heavy; remind me that you delight in my trust and surrender. I give you the chaos in my mind and ask you to replace it with your calming assurance, knowing that you are in control of every situation. Help me to lean into your embrace when I feel overwhelmed and to rejoice in the knowledge that your comforts are enough for me. Teach me to rest in your presence and to be still, knowing that you are God. As I navigate life’s challenges, may I always remember that you are my rock and my salvation.
