In this busy world, it’s so easy to become overwhelmed by the demands of life, the noise and uncertainty that feel like a tidal wave crashing over me. Yet, I know that You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. In this moment, I turn my focus to You, desiring to find rest in Your arms, which are always open and welcoming. Please help me to let go of my burdens and anxieties, releasing them into Your capable hands. Remind me that I do not have to carry my worries alone; Your grace is sufficient for me and Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
Lord, as I seek Your presence, I ask for Your peace to wash over me like a gentle stream. Let Your still, small voice quiet the tumult within my spirit and lead me into the calmness that only You can provide. Help me to carve out moments in my day to retreat into silence, where I can meditate on Your Word and find solace in Your faithfulness. Surround me with Your love, and let my heart rest in the knowledge that You are always with me, guiding my steps and lifting my head when I am weary.
